Illuminating biology – Free poster of fluorescent proteins

Fluorescent proteins are great friends of biologists, ever since the discovery of Green fluorescent proteins (GFP) has revolutionized the field by allowing us to tag protein in the cells, which enable us to track these proteins live in organisms. Thanks to hard work of many groups all around the world, led to discovery of a bewildering range of fluorescent proteins and sensors. The whole range of fluorescent proteins that span the fluorescent spectrum provides excellent tools to dissect cell biological processes with exquisite spatiotemporal resolution.
